Description

The deliciously sweet tasting cherries of Stardust Coveu have white flesh with red-flushed skin. They are rarely found in shops due to ease of bruising, so this is a great variety to grow at home or in an allotment. Stardust Coveu Cherry is the first self-fertile white cherry tree and the fruits also benefit from good resistance to splitting.

These large, sweet eating cherries ripen towards the end of July and can also be used in cooking. Stardust Coveu was developed in Canada in 2002. Plant in a sunny position

Prunus avium 'Stardust Coveu' cherry tree originates from Surrey 1931.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
