As the name suggests, Glen Ample is one of the heaviest-cropping raspberry varieties. The large red raspberries can be picked in July (mid-season) and eaten fresh or frozen. They're also good for making jams and puddings with.

Raspberry Glen Ample has upright canes with very few spines. It is hardy and grows well in a sunny, sheltered position.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
