The Red Oak, now available as hedging! This majestic, fast-growing tree is so-called for the vibrant red colour of its foliage in autumn. Spring catkins are a source of nectar for bees and once pollinated, become the easily recognised acorns which are popular with wildlife, such as squirrels.

This is a cost-saving bundle of 25 hedging plants.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
