Description

Fig 'Little Miss Figgy' is a new variety that is set to become a firm favourite in the UK because of its dwarf nature and hardiness. It grows to just 1.2 metres in height and width, yet remains capable of producing a prolific crop of figs. The large, burgundy coloured figs ripen in spring/summer and are deliciously sweet.

A sport of 'Violette de Bordeaux', Fig 'Little Miss Figgy' has a more compact nature and enhanced fruit cropping. The foliage is deeply lobed and a feature in its own right. Suited to small gardens and patio pots, a sunny position with well draining soil is ideal.

AKA Ficus carica 'Little Miss Figgy', Dwarf Patio Fig, Fig 'Lmf01'

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
