Description

Hydrangea paniculata 'Polestar' is a small, compact hydrangea, reaching just 50 cm in height and spread, making it ideal for container planting or borders. It features deciduous, toothed, broadly oval leaves and produces rounded flowerheads of large, flat florets from early summer to mid-autumn. These flowers initially open white, gradually flushing to pale pink and eventually dark pink by autumn, adding variety and colour to the garden. 'Polestar' thrives best in moist but well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade.

AKA: panicled hydrangea [Polestar], Hydrangea 'Breg14'PBR, Hydrangea paniculata Switch Ophelia

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
