Description

Blueberry 'Brigitta' is a fantastic, late-season Blueberry bush, producing large, light blue fruits which are ready for picking from late August onward. Blueberries are firm with a slightly tart sweet flavour.

Forming a neat and compact upright habit, 'Brigitta' is a great option for container planting. Grow these blueberries on a patio and enjoy them fresh out of hand or cook them into tasty treats—we think they're delicious baked into blueberry muffins. 'Brigitta' blueberries also freeze and store well so can be enjoyed at a later date.

Plant in a full sun to partial shade position, in an acidic soil or ericaceous compost.

AKA Vaccinium corymbosum 'Brigitta'

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
