Description

Acer Palmatum 'Wilson's pink Dwarf' is a deciduous Japanese maple tree with a compact and bushy habit. From its slender branches, it produces vibrant, pink, serrated palmate leaves in spring. They mature into a luscious, deep green in summer, before transforming into fiery shades of red, orange and yellows in autumn. This shrub is a fantastic choice for adding a colourful focal point to any garden. It is also smaller in statue than other Acers, it is also well-suited for smaller gardens.

Acer Palmatum 'Wilson's Pink Dwarf' thrives in full sun or partial shade within a sheltered environment. It prefers moist but well-drained, loam, sand and clay soils. It has an ultimate height and spread of approximately 1.5 meters.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
