Choosing Maple Trees
Acer is a hugely diverse genus, including Red Maples, Field Maples, Snake Bark Maples, Norway Maples and some more unusual choices. Maple trees are most commonly grown for their ornamental foliage which often transforms in spring and autumn to add drama to your garden or planting scheme. There are a number of varieties with highly ornamental bark too - take a look at Snakebark or Paperbark Maples for the best bark.
