Description

Syringa vulgaris 'Michel Buchner' has delightful double flowers with pretty pale pink-lilac colouring. In late spring, they form long, upright panicles and release a pleasing fragrance.

This Lilac can be grown as a large bush or small tree, reaching a height and spread of 4 x 3.5 metres in 20 years. The deciduous mid-green foliage has an attractive elongated-heart shape.

Syringa vulgaris 'Michel Buchner' is a very hardy shrub and can cope with exposure to inland wind. Plant in full sun or partial shade in any well-draining soil.
