Description

Euonymus hamiltonianus 'Koi Boy' features white fruits that open to reveal contrasting bright red seeds resembling the colours of Japanese Koi Carp. Small white-cream flowers in summer and yellow leaves in autumn extend the interest provided by this very small tree.

Growing to just 2.5 metres in height and 1.5 metres spread in 20 years, Euonymus hamiltonianus 'Koi Boy' has arching branches and a bushy habit. 'Koi Boy' is hardy and can cope with all soils that are moist yet well-draining and tolerates exposure to the elements.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather.
