Description

The Acer negundo 'Kelly's Gold' is a small, deciduous tree with a bushy growth habit. One of its most stunning features is the way its leaves change color throughout the seasons. Starting as a vibrant yellow, the foliage matures into a yellow-green before transforming into a golden yellow in the autumn. Its dense nature makes it ideal for providing shade and adding a touch of richness to any garden.

It prefers full sun or partial shade within a sheltered position, in moist but well-drained soil. Ultimate height and spread in 20 years is approximately 12 by 8 meters.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
