Description

Passiflora 'Damsel’s Delight' is a semi-evergreen passion flower climber, known for its particularly large, striking blooms that can reach up to 10cm across. Flower heads consist of large white, pink-tinted petals and long filaments in shades of blue and purple. Ornate anthers and stigmas adorn the centre of the flowers for an eye-catching and exotic finish. Fruit can be produced, but this is rare. Please note that unripe fruit is toxic.

Passion flower 'Damsel’s Delight' is a vigorous and twining variety, ideal for decorating walls, fences and other climbing structures, with an approx. height and spread of 8 x 4 metres in 20 years.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
