Description

Terrace Amber is a naturally dwarf variety of peach producing large, orange/coral pink fruits with a yellow, mouth-wateringly juicy flesh. Suitable for eating fresh, this sweet, self-fertile variety is slow-growing and can be planted in a container or pot – ideal for those with small gardens or patios looking to grow their own peaches. A heavy cropper ready for picking around early August, Terrace Amber also grows lovely, bright pink flowers for a pretty floral display in the spring.

Plant Terrace Amber in a moist but well-draining fertile soil in a full sun position.

AKA Prunus persica Terrace Amber

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
