Description

Quercus Boscobel Royal is a majestic oak tree grown from material taken from the historic "Royal Oak" at Boscobel House, where King Charles II famously hid following his defeat at the Battle of Worcester during the English Civil War in 1651. This connection to British history makes Quercus Boscobel a unique and meaningful addition to any garden. It is a versatile and hardy tree that thrives in a wide range of soil types and can grow in full sun, partial shade, or even full shade.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
