Description

Hibiscus syriacus Flower Tower Purple has a compact, upright habit and eye catching patterned flowers. The lilac-pink flowers feature intricate red markings radiating out from the centre of each flower. Leaves have a slightly lacy appearance, adding more charm.

The original variety from the Flower Tower series, Hibiscus Flower Tower Purple ('Gandini Santiago') produces a wonderful narrow column of colour from mid Summer through to late Summer. This hardy, upright Hibiscus will reach a height of approximately 3 metres with a spread of under 1 metre in 20 years.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
