Description

Blackthorn is a fantastic native tree that is one of the first to bloom, producing masses of pretty white flowers in early spring. It is perhaps most well-known for its small, deep blue fruits that are used to make sloe gin. An ideal hedging plant that is tolerant of various planting conditions including exposure.

This is a cost-saving bundle of 25 hedging plants.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
