Description

Choisya ternata 'Sundance' is a popular, rounded evergreen shrub with cheerful yellow, oval foliage year round. In April-May, and often again in August-September, this Mexican Orange Blossom produces a smothering of single, white flowers which attract all sorts of wildlife, such as bees. Choisya 'Sundance' has a delightful warm, sweet, citrus scent year round and so is ideal planted next to paths or seating areas where it can be thoroughly enjoyed.

This shrub will grow to approx. 2.5 x 2.5 meters in 20 years. It grows well in most well-drained soils and prefer full sun, however it is often seen thriving in heavily shaded, north facing positions. Choisya ternata 'Sundance' is a lovely bright shrub that will add a splash of colour and fragrance to the garden, year round.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
