Description

A cross between the popular Stella and Krupnoplodnaya, Felicita Cherry is a modern variety of cherry tree renowned for the large size of its fruits. Bigger and heavier than most varieties, these cherries are firm and juicy with a luscious, shiny dark red skin colour. Felicita cherries are aromatic and sweet-tasting and are best enjoyed fresh out of hand, although they can be used for juicing as well. Fruits emerge at an early age and are ready for picking around mid-July.

Felicita cherry tree is a self-fertile, naturally dwarf variety suited to growing in a container or pot so would be an excellent choice for smaller gardens and patios.

AKA Prunus avium 'Felicita'

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
