Description

Camellia 'Spring Festival' is an attractive, evergreen upright shrub of a compact variety, which can reach an approximate height of 4m and a spread of 2.5m at maturity. Its glossy, dark green foliage initially emerges with a bronze tinge, adding an interesting hue to the garden. In spring, this camellia produces beautiful small, pale pink double flowers that provide a stunning pop of colour to any garden.

This camellia variety thrives in moist but well-drained to well-drained soils and prefers a sheltered position in full shade to partial shade for optimal growth. Camellia 'Spring Festival' is perfect for adding a splash of colour to garden borders, woodland gardens, or as a container plant, enhancing any space with its elegant blooms.

AKA: Camellia × williamsii 'Spring Festival'

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
