Description

Buxus sempervirens or Common Box Topiary Pyramids are fantastic evergreen plants made up of dense, tightly clipped foliage. These Buxus have been grown and clipped into a beautiful pyramid shape and look particularly striking planted into a pot or container, although they can be grown in the ground as well. Ideal for decorating doorways, patios and driveways of all shapes and sizes, as well as adding year-round structure to the garden.

Box Topiary are slow-growing and easy to keep neat and tidy. Simply give them a light prune once a year, although they can also be left unpruned and still maintain their compact shape. Buxus are happy in both full sun and full shade and most moist well-drained sites.

AKA Common Box, Buxus Pyramid, Box Pyramid, Boxwood

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
